2021 Knight Media Forum

March 2 – 4, 2021: Amid national political polarization, a fractured media ecosystem, and a flood of misinformation on everything from the presidential election to the COVID vaccine, local news is more important than ever, one information source that can ground communities on a shared basis of fact. It’s also being reinvented, under extreme economic pressure. The 2021 Knight Media Forum brings together many of the practitioners and funders seeking to build a new local media that is sustainable and reflects the diversity of our nation. It’s also a place to engage with prominent panelists about ideas and trends shaping our society, media and democracy.
