Ning is the President of Innovo Foundation and a private investor. She has a background in computer science and used to work in the tech industry. Since 2006, she has engaged in environmental and non-profit work. She believes that community building and grassroots activism are the foundation and driving force for systematic changes. As such, she started the Blue Wave Postcard Movement, Indivisible Colorado Environment, and a few other organizations focusing on civic engagement and advocacy. She currently serves on the boards of Resource Central, Conservation Colorado, and Regional Air Quality Council. She is also a freelance photographer and cares deeply about storytelling. She is interested in finding innovative solutions to help strengthen and restore trust in public interest local media.
